1. Terms of Supply

Supplies from stock are on the following basis:

a) We offer a maximum standard bookseller discount on account to bone fide booksellers on most of the titles from our wholesale list. Lesser discounts may apply on titles from specific publishers. Discounts on non-book wholesale items (e.g cassettes) vary. A short discount, depending on quantity ordered, is offered on a range titles not on our wholesale list. Apply to CHINA BOOKS for exact discount figures.

b) Free freight is given on all orders placed within Australia with a net invoice value of $150 or over. International orders will be automatically shipped by the cheapest method unless otherwise advised.

c) Orders (placed within Australia) under $150 nett invoice value, a minimum charge of $10.00 applies. This however may vary with destination.d) All books are supplied on a FIRM SALE basis unless prior alternative arrangements are made.

2. Credit Terms

a) All accounts are due and payable THIRTY (30) DAYS from the end of the month in which invoice and supply are made. No statements are issued. International orders usually require prepayment.

b) New accounts are required to pay for their first order on a "proforma" or "cash with order" basis.

c) If an account falls into arrears a 'Stop Supply' will be placed against the account, and all backorders and new orders will be held until the account is paid up.

3. Orders

a) When an order is received by us, we will understand that the books are to be supplied from stock and if no stock is available we shall backorder for later supply. If we do not have the book and the book is indentable, we shall indent.

b) Cancellation of orders: we shall accept order cancellations of locally stocked books. For indented books, if the cancellation is made more than two (2) weeks after the original order, the books will be the bookseller's responsibility.

4. Returns & Misbound or Damaged Books

Authorisation MUST be obtained, otherwise full credit WILL NOT be given. To obtain replacement or credit, return whole book with memorandum noting full details of damage or fault, i.e. misprint, spine damage etc. Our invoice number MUST be quoted on all returns.

5. Pricing

Pricing of CHINA BOOKS titles from overseas are subject to change without notice. All backorders subsequently despatched will be at the new price.
